I'm on MC the whole week. Doc let me rest cos of my ligament pain. But actually, I think i need the MC more due to fear that I may break water at school or simply suddenly go into labour... Anyway, since I'm on MC, I need to move around. The more I sit around, I think the longer it is for labour to start. So today, since it's raining, I decided to climb up the stairs instead of taking a walk around the park. Went up to the 12th floor on my own. yeah, Wani warned me not to go alone but if I am to wait for someone to accompany me, when will i ever get to do it? Climbing up was easy and I was rewarded with a great view up there...

I can see Senoko power station from here!

Its the climbing down the stairs that was a bit of a challenge! My legs start to tense up. I was really scared i couldn't make it to my floor. I should have warmed up longer. And so I sat at the piano's chair and did leg stretchings. Next time I climb up those stairs, I better do a proper warm up!

Anyway, I have been watching the Discovery Home and Health Channel a lot lately, especially the baby stories, deliver me and runway mums. All these times I watched those programmes, its always about c-section deliveries which I'm not so interested as the women came in feeling happy, they don't need to do anything, let the doctor and nurses do the work and ta-dah.. baby is put next to their cheeks. Well, for some of them they have no choice cos of complications and so on but for others, its just a matter of their choice. C-sections are getting popular in the west to avoid the pain of child birth altogether.

However, today, I get to see a vaginal delivery. Saw the pained face of the woman going through contractions and the pushing with the counts of each contraction and finally the baby coming out and put immediately on the mother's tummy. Whoah! That's the kind of delivery I am hoping for. I just hope I can tahan the pain. I hope my body works efficiently for this big event of my life. Its exciting, isn't it?
