Good Friday weekend

Was a great weekend! Didn't do any work except at 7pm just now, when I went through the slides for tomorrow's first 3 periods... 7.45 am to 10 am.. straight 3 periods teaching.

Friday,
Breakfast at Casuarina followed by shopping spree at Causeway point's Kiddy palace and Spring maternity. I've started buying my own maternity clothes since last week. Bought a pair of pants at Marton Bell and this friday, bought 2 dresses at kiddy palace and 3 tops from spring maternity... Went to Sentosa after that to catch the Songs of the sea but tickets were sold out for both shows, so hubby called Fid who told us to wait for him at the gate at 6.45pm. It was 4.30 so we walked around the beach area and decided to go up the Merlion. Hubby was busy snapping pictures away with his rented professional camera. Anyway, show was interesting. Go watch!



Saturday,
Hubby's cousin, abg long at JB having birthday party and kenduri for his 3 children. So, after volleyball training in the morning, went to fetch his uncle and cousins at ave 4 and head for jb. luckily no jam. stayed around the house, til about 5 to shop at tebrau city. 3 boutiques, 2 of which have 50 to 70% discount! And so i bought 3 more items, a pair of pants, a blouse and a dress. Altogether, i spent about $300 this week just for maternity wear. But its ok.. considering pb bonus is 2 months this year.. ;-)

Today,
Did laundry in the morning, then went to baby fair at EXPO. Mums r Us having sale too! Tops going at $25 and dresses at $60. BUT I really had enough of shopping for clothes.... so i didn't get any. I don't know if I'll regret it but earlier in the morning when I counted my clothes, I have 7 dresses ( including 2 which is on loan from ija ) and 2 pairs of pants and lots lots of tops.. and i also ordered 3 pieces from vpost liz lange's collection online. I think i have enough to last me til the last couple of months. If i grow bigger, i may need to buy some more. If not, good, i don't have to buy anymore. Stopped at the halal food fair and the book fair too. BOught something from every hall. We bought the rocker chair and palmer's soothing oil from the baby fair, food from the food fair and 3 books from the book fair.

It was indeed a weekend of shopping.. I dare not calculate how much I've spent altogether.. but it really makes me happy..to spend time with hubby and spend money.... This is the good thing about working and having my own money to spend.
